John van Nijnatten
President VADnet Europe
In 1997, John started his career as an entrepreneur by founding the MCS Europe Group. Under his wings, MCS became a leading BeNeLux based Internet of Things distributor. MCS became a member of VADnet in 2010, which has led to a faster growth of his company than ever expected.
After having sold and having handed over the company to a new management, John was elected as the 3rd VADnet president.
His main goal will be to further grow VADnet with more valuable members, to strengthen the relationships with leading vendors and to organize the semi-annual events.
Apart from his entrepreneurial and organizational skills, John is a sport fanatic and regularly participates in adventurous competitions in the field of speed ice skating, running and road cycling. You can also see him cruising around on his boat with his family and friends.
Christoph Hilbert
Founder / CEO ime mobile solutions GmbH, Germany - Chairman VADnet Europe
Christoph Hilbert founded ime mobile solutions GmbH in 1992 at the age of 25, where he remains the sole shareholder to this day. His company now focuses on solutions for connecting machines, equipment, and goods to the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as providing the necessary software platforms and consulting services.
Christoph also has been actively involved with the Wholesale and Foreign Trade Association of Saarland since 2006 and currently serves as the second Deputy Chairman.
A passionate lifelong learner, he continually furthers his education, whether through self-study or relevant courses offered by manufacturers and institutions.
In his free time, Christoph enjoys playing pool billiards and snooker. He is also an avid sports driver, participating in track day events where he can indulge his passion for high-performance driving.
Håvard Vinsrygg
Founder / CEO Emcom, Norway
In 1997, Haavard founded Media Components Emcom together with his buddy from the university of Oslo. After a restructuring in 2004, the company was rebranded as just Emcom AS and have since 2005 been a value-adding distributor in communications. Main product areas are antennas and mobile broadband routers.
In general, Emcom provides wireless networking and data communications hardware, application & management software and value-added services. Emcom became a VADnet member in 2006, which has had a major influence in its success and growth. The company is one of the major players in IoT and mobile broadband solutions in the Norwegian market.
Haavard tries to balance his dedication to Emcom with good time with his family and outdoor activities such as running, hunting and fishing.
William Ingram
Founder / CEO Communica, Sweden
William graduated with a BA from the University of New Hampshire in Economics and Geography in 1989. He started working in IT distribution in 1992, after immigrating to Sweden.
In 1997, he started Communica Datadistribution AB focusing on mobile data communication. Quality product offerings and good pre-sales and after-sales support were key elements to Communica’s vision. Over 27 years he has seen many technologies come and go but has always focused on profitability. Communica’s portfolio has grown to include management software, IoT products (routers and sensors), cellular repeaters and private 5G.
Communica was one of the founding companies of VADnet in 2003 and continues to be committed to the objectives of the organization.
William is an avid Cross Country skier who continues to race long distance races, as well as running and biking in the Summer. He always enjoys a good hike in the mountains or woods with his family.
